Lemon Sweet Pickle Recipe in Gujarati Language:

Ingredients:
  • 1 કિલો લીંબુ - Lemon
  • 11/2 કિલો ખાંડ - Sugar
  • હળદર - Turmeric
  • લાલ મરચું - Red Chili Powder
  • મીઠું - Salt 
Recipe:
  • સૌ પ્રથમ દરેક લીંબુ ના ચાર ટુકડા કરી મીઠા અને હળદર માં 15 દિવસ રાખવા (લીંબુ ની છાલ પોચી પડે ત્યાં સુધી રાખવાં) રોજ ઉછાળવા.
  • લીંબુ ના ટુકડા કરી બીયા કાઢી થાળીમાં છુટા પાડવા, ખાંડ ડૂબે તેટલું પાણી લઇ 2 તારની ચાસની કરવી
  • ચાસણી ઠંડી પાડવી. 
  • તેમાં મીઠું અને લાલ મરચું નાખી લીંબુ ના ટુકડા નાંખવા.
  • બરાબર હલાવી બરણી માં ભરવાં.  
 Recipe:
  • First make the four pieces of all lemons and put it in a salt and turmeric powder mixture for 15 days. (Put it Until the upper skin of lemon can be soften.)
  • Make the pieces of lemon and put it in a plate separately, take the enough water where sugar can be dissolve properly and make two string chasni from this mixture.
  • Let cool the chasni.
  • And add salt, red chili powder and lemon pieces in it.
  • Mix them all well.
  • Store Lemon Pickle - limbu nu athanu in a Glass jar.
